Therefore, stuffed animals get a lot of stains in the course of their lives, including from glue. Depending on the type of glue, it can be difficult to remove it from the stuffed animal.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Remove colourless glue from the stuffed animal<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Usually it is the glue that children use at school that sticks to the stuffed animals. This is usually colourless glue such as Uhu, which is relatively easy to remove from the stuffed animal fur.<\/p>\n<p>First, carefully scrape off as much adhesive as possible with a blunt knife and your fingers. Dab the area with the glue with a sponge and lukewarm dishwashing liquid. This will loosen the glue from the fur of the stuffed animal. If glue still remains, soak the stuffed animal in a container with warm water, washing-up liquid and a tablespoon of ammonia. The water should be warm but not hot, because heat would fix the glue to the fabric.<\/p>\n<p>Stubborn glue can be treated with a detergent if glue still sticks after 15 minutes of soaking. If the stuffed animal is washable, put it in the washing machine with the normal laundry.<\/p>\n<p>After washing, allow the stuffed animal to air dry.
