The laurel seed needs special care to germinate and should be sown in spring or late summer.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The laurel plant is an aromatic-smelling bush that originates from the maritime climate. The bark of the root fights diarrhoea and bleeding. As a gargle solution, it soothes sore throats during colds.<\/p>\n<p>The wax-covered berries are used to make aromatic candles and soaps. The berries are boiled in water, separating the wax from the berry.
