Fill a bowl with cold water and one with hot water. Sit on a comfortable chair and place your feet in the cold water. After 5 minutes, bathe your feet in the hot water and repeat the process several times. The alternating bath expands and contracts the blood vessels and stimulates blood circulation.

A hot foot bath with eucalyptus oil also refreshes the feet. Soak your feet for 10 to 15 minutes. Alternatively, you can add very strong peppermint tea to the water.

A warm foot bath with arnica tincture helps with acute pain. The arnica tincture stimulates blood flow and instantly relieves foot pain.

Foot massage

Special massage rollers can be used to massage tired and aching feet and thus relieve the pain. Instead of using a massage roller, you can roll your bare feet back and forth over a tennis ball or golf ball for a few minutes. For a stimulating massage oil to relieve pain, mix 3 drops of clove oil with 3 tablespoons of sesame oil.

Massage the oil well into the feet. Another massage oil for the feet can be mixed from 3 drops of lavender oil, 1 drop of camomile oil, 1 drop of geranium oil and 2 teaspoons of olive oil.

Inlays

Orthopaedic insoles improve the position of the foot in the shoe and prevent one-sided strain. Insoles are available either from an orthopaedic specialist, who orders them individually for the foot, or as simple gel insoles in larger supermarkets.

Foot training

A little targeted movement for the feet loosens the muscles. For example, stretch out your foot and alternately spread and squeeze your toes. Spread a few pegs on the floor and pick them up with your toes.

Heel pain

If heel pain occurs mainly in the morning, it may be plantar fasciitis, an inflammation of the ligament between the heel bone and toes. Stretch the Achilles tendon to relieve the pain. Stand with your toes on the edge of a step and let the weight of your body push your heels all the way down, then stand up on your toes. Repeat this exercise several times.

Prevention of foot pain

The best prevention against foot pain is well-fitting, comfortable shoes. If you are prone to foot pain despite wearing comfortable shoes, you can rub foot balm into your feet before putting them on. Soak your feet in warm water once a week to prevent cornification. Then rub in foot cream.

If your feet don't hurt for an obvious reason, but are simply tired from walking a lot, wearing shoes that are too tight or standing for long periods, there are a few ways to relieve foot pain yourself.

["2345"],"_fgj2wp_old_id":["1746
wie lindert man fußschmerz
2225
1
how-to-relieve-foot-pain
12

post-2346","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-gesundheit","entry","has-media
["GET
