You can make old leather items such as saddles, gloves, leather lamps or leather aprons supple and shiny again.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Use a soft, lint-free cloth to massage olive oil into the dry leather. Work the oil thoroughly into the leather. The oily cloth also removes dust and dirt from the leather.<\/p>\n<p>Leave the oil to work into the leather for about half an hour.<\/p>\n<p>Then wipe off any excess oil that has not been absorbed with a tissue (Kleenex).<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Every few weeks, when the leather looks dry again, you can repeat the process.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Leather dries out over time and becomes cracked.
