This was a popular refreshing drink at the time. However, he left his lemonade on the veranda. The temperature dropped below freezing overnight. So when Frank stepped out onto the veranda the next morning, he found his lemonade, with the stirrer still in it, frozen.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">However, it was another 18 years before Frank Epperson patented this invention and marketed it in several flavours.
