Even in the first place. Regularly pay small amounts into your savings account, before you pay any bills.

Do this at the beginning of each month or after you receive your salary. This way, your monthly salary won't just slip through your fingers, leaving you with nothing left to save. If you pay your bills first, you may have nothing left to put aside at the end of the month.

Always put a small amount, maybe 5% of your income into your savings account at the beginning of the month, and you'll see that after a while you'll have a lot of extra money saved up. No matter how much you earn each month, this system will work as long as you always stick to paying yourself first.

Another method of saving is to take small coins such as 1, 2, 5 or 10 cent coins out of your wallet every day and put them in a money box. At the end of the month, you can roll up the small change you have saved and pay it into your savings account. Be careful: some banks charge a fee for exchanging change into notes, but it is usually free to deposit the money directly into an account at the same bank.

Don't be discouraged if the savings plan fails at the beginning. Life and managing money is not as easy as it sounds on paper. If you can't pay important bills because you've set aside too much money at the beginning of the month, save a little less. It may take you some time to work out how much you can afford to put aside without other bills piling up. The important thing is that you always something set aside for savings.

Du hast jede Menge Rechnungen zu bezahlen und fragst dich, wie du für Notfälle noch Geld zurücklegen sollst?
