Pattaya Beach
The approximately 4 km long, crescent-shaped beach in Pattaya is not only filled with sun loungers, but also offers all kinds of water activities. However, this also makes it very busy. The palm-lined beach promenade has numerous market stalls, restaurants and bars. A sun-hungry tourist can stretch out comfortably in a deckchair, take ice cream or fruit from passing vendors and get a massage. There is also fun to be had on a banana boat or a jet ski. Directly opposite are shopping arcades with leisure activities such as bowling or mini golf.
There is also a golf course very close to the beach.

Jomtien Beach
If you prefer things a little quieter, you can also head to Jomtien Beach. Jomtien Beach is about 2 km from the centre of Pattaya. The beach is 6 kilometres long and less crowded than Pattaya. Weekend visitors from Bangkok and the surrounding area who find Pattaya too "touristy" come here.
Jomtien Beach is a popular beach for windsurfing and paragliding. There is a go-kart track nearby and elephant rides are offered.
