Hippo milk is actually pink, i.e. it has a slightly pinkish hue. One cup of pink hippo milk contains about 500 calories.

The milk can even be sucked under water as it has a thick consistency, similar to yoghurt.

Hippos also have a pink mucus that the skin glands exude as protection from the sun.
