Pretty much every person's main goal in life is to be happy and stay happy. Many people therefore sacrifice a large part of their lives to find satisfaction in life or to get things that supposedly make them happy.
However, lasting life satisfaction does not work this way. Frantically searching for happiness achieves the opposite. Chasing after happiness is not even necessary, because everyone already has their life satisfaction within them. You just have to find a way to access it and make a conscious decision to be happy. Whether you are happy depends on you and your attitude, not on your material possessions.
The constant search for material things and possessions tends to get in the way of finding contentment. It is normal that we want to own certain things, but these things should not determine whether we are satisfied in life or not. You can want to have certain things, but first be content with what you already have.
You may have already realised that if you really wanted an item, its magic fades as soon as you own it. The pursuit of something is often more beautiful than the fulfilment of the desire in the end. This means that material things can certainly sweeten your life, but they contribute little to your inner satisfaction. How you experience and view the world, your inner attitude towards your circumstances, are the things that can make you happy in the long term.
True life satisfaction is enjoying life in the moment and not letting it be influenced by external circumstances. If you really want to be happy, learn to be relaxed and ignore external things. Don't let consumer-orientated society influence you negatively. Real happiness comes from within. Your physical existence helps you to live things that you like, your spiritual self makes you content.
