Most of the stress we feel is caused by ourselves. We put ourselves under pressure by setting our goals and expectations too high and trying to pack far too much into a single day.
If you are constantly under pressure and set yourself unrealistic deadlines or plan too far ahead, you create unnecessary stress and tension and will inevitably fail. Sometimes you have to consciously take a deep breath and slow yourself down.
Learn to approach your tasks calmly, without pressure and without setting your expectations too high. Tackle each task step by step and try to enjoy the individual steps. Concentrate on one thing at a time, not too many at once, so that you don't become emotionally overwhelmed.
Unfortunately, our daily environment often forces us to hurry and rush; work colleagues or the boss in particular like to make us feel that everything has to be done immediately. Try to distance yourself from their pressure and ignore their urge to rush. You will achieve better results if you can complete your tasks one by one without stress.
If your to-do list gets too long, prioritise. Things that you can put off should be put off until they become a priority.
Allow yourself more time for each task, so you will complete it and get a positive result.
