Delicious beer bratwurst for barbecues and outdoor parties, in simple steps.
- Place the defrosted bratwurst in a saucepan and pour in the beer until the sausages are completely covered. You can also use non-alcoholic beer if you prefer.
- Dice the onions and add.
- Slowly bring the sausages to the boil and cook for about 20 minutes. The sausages should be fully cooked.
- Remove the sausages from the cooking pot and place on the hot grill. As they are already cooked, grilling is only for browning.
- Turn the sausages regularly until the desired browning is achieved.
Serving suggestions: With a bun as a hot dog, with sauerkraut and potatoes or mustard and ketchup.
