Black tea is more than just a stimulant. What you can do with used tea bags:
Tea against razor burn. If you graze your skin or cut yourself while shaving, you can press a wet tea bag onto the affected area until the pain is relieved.
Tea against sweaty feet. Feet no longer smell of sweat if you soak them in tea for 20 minutes a day.
Tender meat with doughe. Marinate the meat in a pan with hot tea, a tablespoon of brown sugar, salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder in the oven for 90 minutes. This will tenderise even the toughest pieces of meat.
Beautiful roses with tea. Sprinkle the used tea leaves (loose or in tea bags) around the rose bush and cover with fresh soil. The nutrients from the tea are absorbed into the soil with the irrigation water. Roses love the tannic acid from black tea.
Tea for tired eyes. Refresh your tired, overworked or puffy eyes by placing a warm tea bag on each eye and letting it rest on your closed eyes for 20 minutes. The tannic acid in the tea reduces puffiness and soothes tired eyes.
