Street chalk as painting fun for children to paint asphalt, concrete or paving stones can be made quite easily and inexpensively yourself.

All you need is:

 

100ml water

2 tablespoons powdered tempera colour

9 tablespoons plaster

 

Mix the water, tempera colours and plaster together until a creamy mass is formed. 

Pour the cream into small paper cups and leave to set for one hour.

When the mass is hard enough, the paper cups are peeled off.
