Stroke, what are the signs

elderly gentlemanThere are clear signs of stroke, which is how you can tell that it is happening. In medicine, a stroke is called a transient ischaemic attack, or TIA for short.

There are signs that warn the affected person, but they are not always clearly recognised as a stroke, as the signs often disappear again after a few minutes.
