Not only respiratory organs, but also other organs or individual cells can be affected by a lack of oxygen and gradually die. The artificial supply of oxygen can provide decisive help in cases of localised asphyxiation caused by circulatory disorders.

 

In oxygen therapy, oxygen is blown into the blood vessels in calculated doses. Pure oxygen is used to prevent the ingress of air and the risk of an air embolism. Oxygen gas is blown into the larger artery in the groin area using an insufflation device. This is particularly effective for circulatory disorders in the legs, vascular spasms and lower leg ulcers.

 

With increasing age, the body experiences a reduction in the performance of the heart and lungs, as a result of which less oxygen reaches the blood. Further stress increases the drop in oxygen in the blood. At the age of 80, the body's oxygen content is only 66% of the possible maximum value, which causes circulatory problems, weakens the immune system and can cause cancer and organ damage.

This process can be counteracted by haematogenous oxidation therapy (HOT) or oxygen multi-step therapy. In HOT, blood is taken from the patient, which is enriched with oxygen and irradiated with UV light. This produces ozone. The resulting ozone-blood-oxygen mixture is injected back into the patient. This treatment is carried out twice a week for several weeks and has an effect that lasts for months or years.

In multi-step oxygen therapy, the body is given vitamin B1 and magnesium, which helps it to better utilise the oxygen supplied in the next step. In the second step, pure oxygen is inhaled. The third step involves physical exercise training. To ensure that the effect lasts in the long term, regular and targeted exercise is required. The treatment results in partial or complete regeneration of the heart and lungs.
