Building muscle requires two essential factors, namely physical training of the relevant parts of the body and an increased calorie intake. If you change your diet to mainly protein-rich foods without increasing the number of calories, this does not promote rapid muscle growth.
Instead, the diet should be enriched with more calories in the form of healthy and wholesome foods, for example wholemeal products, nuts, fish, etc. The body automatically absorbs all the nutrients it needs. This way, the body automatically absorbs all the necessary nutrients that promote muscle growth.

Whilst protein is an important part of any healthy diet, even in bodybuilding circles too much emphasis is placed on protein intake to build muscle. For a healthy build-up of muscle mass, no more than 1.7g of protein per kilogramme of body weight should be consumed per day. Too much protein can be harmful because it overloads the digestive system.

The key to a muscular body is sufficient muscle training and a balanced, high-calorie diet.
