Ugly scratches on the plastic of the dashboard in the car make even a brand new car look pretty old.

 

Lighter scratches that are not too deep can be made to disappear or at least effectively concealed by applying a few drops of baby oil to a soft, lint-free cloth and rubbing the dashboard with it. Remove any excess oil afterwards with a tissue.

 

With a few drops of baby oil, you can also breathe new life into an old leather bag or worn leather shoes. After rubbing in the baby oil, polish the leather with a dry cloth and it will shine like new again and become beautifully supple.
