Foreign cats like to use flower or vegetable beds as a toilet. To keep the unwanted visitors out of your own garden, it helps to spread coffee grounds on the beds. Cats don't seem to like the intense smell of coffee.

 

As a bonus, the coffee grounds serve as fertiliser for the plants.
