Turkish Sabre is a card game for any number of players. The game is played with 32 cards (7,8,9,10, Jack, Queen, King, Ace). One of the players is appointed banker and shuffles the cards. Another player divides the deck into two halves and places the bottom half on top. The banker asks a player to name a particular card. All players now place their bets. The banker now turns over cards in turn, placing them to the left and right of the deck. If the named card appears on the side to the left of the pile, the bank wins; if it appears on the right, the players get their stakes back doubled.
