The game is played with either two parties of 3 players or three parties of 2 players. The players sitting opposite each other are partners. In groups of three, one player sits out. With three groups of two, three decks of 52 cards each and 6 real jokers are used, i.e. a total of 162 cards.
Each player is dealt 13 cards, the rest are placed on the pile. The game round may only be ended after two canasta cards have been played.
Five Red Threes receive 1000 points, six 1200 points.
Billing
The losing party pays the difference in points to the winning party. If party 1 won with 6000 points, party 2 lost with 4000 and party 3 with 3500, party 2 pays party 1 the value for 2000 points; party 3 pays party 1 the value for 2500 points. The winnings are divided equally.
The settlement value per 1000 points must be agreed before the game.
