There is a new diet pill called Contrave. This diet pill is currently still in the clinical trial phase. Contrave combines an antidepressant and a drug against drug addiction. The data to date favours its use in overweight and obesity.

The FDA advisory committee that had to decide on the future of the new diet pill Contrave found that the weight loss benefits outweighed the risk of side effects.
